The objective right from the beginning was to annihilate the entire Palestinian population and re-occupy the remaining Palestinian habitat—Gaza and even the West Bank. And Trump was privy to this long-term plan.
The Zionist state of Israel bombed on September 9 Doha the capital of the Gulf island state of Qatar, a most trusted and dependable ally of the United States of America (USA) which also hosts a US air base at Ai Udeid to monitor and prevent any misadventure against US’ most important ally, the Zionist state of Israel.
Isreal did not just bomb Qatar but its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu immediately took credit for this attack on two counts. One, in what he described a retaliation for some Palestinian allegedly gunning down a day earlier, six Israelis waiting at a bus stop in Jerusalem. Two, to target Hamas leaders who were there on the joint invitation of US and Qatar to work out a cease fire on Gaza and release of the remaining few hostages captured by Hamas daredevils from Israeli border areas on October 7, 2023. It is now getting to be two years of relentless assault on the Palestinians in Gaza, killing and maiming children, women and old infirm, nearing about a lakh dead, with countless still buried under debris of hospitals, schools, colleges, universities and residential complexes razed to the ground. Make no mistake, the victims are not just Sunni Muslims, as the western media tends to portray. There is considerable Christian population and even Jews among the Palestinians, in Gaza and also West Bank and Jerusalem, all Arabs, who are equally oppressed and fighting the white, racist, Zionist regime.
But the most notable aspect is Netanyahu’s disclosure that he had personally called up US President Donald Trump before shooting missiles towards Doha, In effect, Trump was complicit in this attack on those whom he and his government profess to protect. Also, it now appears that just as the US administration was culpably involved in Israel’s pager bombing killing of Hasan Nasrullah and the rest of the top leadership of Hezbollah exactly a year ago, going by the public encouragement of that terror attack, so is this attack on Hamas leaders in Doha invited at US instance according to Qatar assertion, for negotiating ceasefire and peace in Gaza. Look at American chicanery. On the one hand it draws the remaining Hamas leadership with the offer of arbitrating the release of the remaining Israeli hostages in Gaza, on the other it winks at Netanyahu when he tells Trump of firing a missile at Doha. Look at the irony! The US which denied visas to the Palestinian delegation to attend the impending United Nations General Assembly in New York, apprehending the rise of demand by its western allies to recognise the state of Palestine, joined the others at the special session of the UN Security Council to condemn the unprovoked Israeli bombing of Qatar.
Contrast the Trump complicity to Burkina Faso head of state Captain Ibrahim Tarore, and led by him most African nations’ strong reaction, to Israeli aggression on a sovereign nation. In a video addressing his countrymen, Tarore said that he called up Netanyahu directly on phone the day the Israeli attack took place saying, “your aircraft crossed the line. Africa will not stay silent.’ He forgot that Africa no longer bows to western protected powers. Within 6 hours, the Israeli ambassador sought emergency meetings. Within 12 hours Netanyahu was calling the office of African Union headquarters, within 24 hours Israeli defence contractors were panicking losing African partnership worth billions. This is not just about Qatar but that Africa decided that sovereignty matters everywhere and those who violate it must face consequences regardless of American protection.”
Did even a single Arab nation, including Qatar itself react as strongly as Africa did? No. Qatar Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, while reacting to the Israel targeting Hamas leaders in Doha, told CNN, “I was meeting one of the ‘hostages’ families the morning of the attack. I think that what Netanyahu has done yesterday, he just killed any hope for those hostages.” But as stated above, is Israeli government even interested in seeking the release of the hostages? Their custody with Hamas provides Netanyahu the alibi to persist in their genocidal annihilation of Palestinians.
It is crystal clear from the day Israel Defence Force (IDF) started indiscriminate killing of Palestinians, men, women and children, razing the entire Gaza strip to ground, post October 7, 2023, forcing Palestinians out of any roof over their heads, that they were telling lies to fellow Israelis whose kith and kin were in Hamas custody and the rest of world that their objective was to secure the release of the hostages. it never was. That was a ruse. The objective right from the beginning was to annihilate the entire Palestinian population and re-occupy the remaining Palestinian habitat—Gaza and even the West Bank. And Trump was privy to this long-term plan. For he had announced his plans to develop Gaza as a seaside resort, asking Jordan and Egypt to provide refuge to the few Palestinians, still alive, in spite of this incessant massacre and starvation, which Netanyahu immediately seconded. Such is the extent of inhuman hate of Palestinians among Zionists that Netanyahu’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, supported the blockade of the Gaza Strip, saying that fuel will not enter Gaza “under any circumstances” and added, “Gaza will be under Israeli control” after the Gaza war. And Modi regime hosted this criminal with Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman inviting Israeli investment and Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel along with his council of ministers according the warmest welcome to Smotrich. Smotrich too knew who would readily welcome him.
Similarly Israeli Defence Minister going by the name of Israel Katz, while supporting blockade of all aid to Gaza, announced about Gazans, “They will not receive a drop of water or a single battery (for light or charging their mobile phones).
Then there is the Israel’s National Security Minister Ben-Givr, whose dirty criminal mind set was apparent when in July 2024 he visited Sde Teiman detention camp to meet nine Israeli soldiers charged with aggravated abuse and forcible sodomy of a Palestinian prisoner. Ben-Gvir condemned the prosecution of the soldiers as “shameful”, calling for “the military authorities to back the fighters … Soldiers need to have our full support”.
On 10 June 2025, the governments of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Norway announced that they would impose travel bans and freeze Ben-Gvir’s assets alongside Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, accusing them of inciting settler violence against Palestinians in the West Bank. By the way from Netanyahu to these notorious ministers in his cabinet, each one of them has a criminal record, not just relating to Palestinians. But at the same time UK and western Europe continue to finance and arm Israel. As long as they indulge in this double speak, why would Isreal be deterred?
Only a fool could expect any fair play from these criminals.
